How We Work

Standards in Practice.

obrelin Journal operates under the following editorial principles: articles are reviewed by at least one second editor before publication, sources are cited where appropriate, corrections are noted publicly, and writers disclose any commercial relationships that could influence their selection of subject matter.

Editorial Statement

obrelin Journal is an independent editorial publication exploring everyday supplementation habits, nutritional awareness, and active lifestyle choices for men. The publication is not affiliated with any commercial, governmental, or institutional body.

The editorial standards documented on this page represent the publication's commitment to accuracy, independence, and transparency. They are applied to every article, regardless of author, subject, or timing. This page is updated whenever those standards are revised, with the date of revision noted at the bottom.

The Review Process
Step 01

Topic Selection

Article topics are selected based on relevance to active men's supplementation habits and the availability of published nutritional research. Topics are chosen editorially — not in response to product trends, commercial requests, or search volume alone.

Step 02

Source Review

Before writing begins, the assigned writer reviews published nutritional research related to the topic. Sources are assessed for relevance, study design quality, and recency. The editorial position on a subject is not determined before this review is complete.

Step 03

Second-Editor Review

Every article is reviewed by a second editor before publication. The second editor checks factual accuracy, source citations, the appropriateness of claims relative to the evidence cited, and adherence to the publication's editorial voice and standards.

Step 04

Publication and Record

Articles are published with a visible date of publication and author attribution. Post-publication corrections, when required, are noted within the article text with the correction date. No silent edits are made to published content.

Source Verification

The publication's approach to source selection is not exhaustive — the goal is not to survey all available literature, but to accurately represent what the published record supports on a given topic.

Preferred Source Types

Published peer-reviewed nutritional research is the preferred source type for factual claims. Where peer-reviewed sources are unavailable or inconclusive, the article notes this explicitly. Population-level studies, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses are weighted more heavily than single-subject observations in the editorial review process.

Disclosure of Limitations

Where research on a topic is limited, contested, or inconclusive, the article is written to reflect that accurately. obrelin Journal does not construct false confidence around uncertain evidence. The publication considers an honest acknowledgment of what the record does not establish to be as valuable as documenting what it does.

Commercial Independence in Sourcing

Writers do not use brand-published research, manufacturer white papers, or commercially funded studies as primary sources without explicit notation. Where such sources are referenced for context, they are identified as commercially originating and treated accordingly in the editorial framing.

Accuracy Policy

No Overstated Claims

Claims made in obrelin Journal articles are constrained by what the cited published research supports. The editorial standard requires that claim strength match evidence strength — strong claims require strong evidence; where evidence is moderate, claims are framed as observations, not conclusions.

Corrections Policy

When a factual error is identified in a published article — whether by a reader or the editorial team — a correction is made within the article body with a note specifying what was changed and when. The correction is not hidden; readers are expected to be able to see what was amended.

Commercial Disclosure

Writers are required to disclose any commercial relationship with supplement brands, retailers, or related commercial interests before an article is assigned. Articles from writers with undisclosed commercial relationships are not published. The publication accepts no advertising or sponsored content.

Editorial Scope and Limitations

obrelin Journal covers a defined range of subjects: daily supplementation habits, nutritional awareness, and active lifestyle practices for men. The publication does not cover acute wellness concerns, nor does it address specific personal circumstances. The editorial scope is intentionally bounded.

The publication does not publish content that promotes specific brands, recommends specific products, or endorses commercial interests. When product categories are discussed, they are discussed generically — with reference to published research on the category, not promotional claims made by specific brands.

Articles published on obrelin Journal are editorial in nature and reflect the writers' observations on everyday supplementation habits and nutritional awareness for active men. The content is not intended as professional advice, nor as guidance for the management of any specific condition. Readers with specific concerns about their daily routines are encouraged to speak with a qualified wellness professional.
